Summer salad of tomatoes, cucumbers and onions
A good vegetable salad is a must for a good barbecue. It is useless to argue with this statement, especially since it is true. For our gatherings around the grill, I often prepare a very simple salad of tomatoes, cucumbers and onions. Before serving, the salad needs to stand for a while so that the vegetables are properly marinated. That's why I prepare it in advance. The salad is always popular.
A lot of juice remains from the salad. You shouldn't throw it away. Try dipping fried pieces of meat into it. It's very tasty, I tell you honestly.
Cut the tomatoes into 4-6 pieces. This is if the tomatoes are medium sized. If the tomatoes are large, then you need to cut them into more pieces. The main thing here is that the pieces are large.
Place all the vegetables in a large salad bowl, pour over the marinade and mix. Cover the salad and put it in the refrigerator until serving.
Place all marinade ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until smooth. Pour the prepared marinade over the salad.
