Salad with smoked processed cheese

SALADS ≈ 15 minutes 4 servings 25 October 2026 · 0 comments
STEP 5 — Mix and serve.

This is one of my regular winter salads. Smoked processed cheese gives it a pleasant smoky flavor, but choose a variety that grates well rather than crumbling. I add just enough garlic to bring out the cheese's flavor.

STEP 4 — Chop the garlic. I do this on a small grater. Mix garlic with cheese and carrots. Add mayonnaise. Salt if desired. I don’t add salt, as both cheese and mayonnaise provide enough salt.
