Broccoli and chicken salad
We tried this broccoli and chicken salad for the first time and really enjoyed it. It tastes fresh and zesty, and the walnuts add a lovely finishing touch. Just the thing for a summer dinner.
To make boiled breast tastier, place it in boiling water. And add your favorite spices.
Boil the chicken breast in a small amount of salted water. Cool. Remove skin and remove bones. Cut the fillet into cubes.
Blanch the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes. Or steam it, but also not for long. Literally 2-3 minutes. Cool.
Roughly chop the walnuts. Slice the green onions diagonally. Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry in a dry pan until lightly browned.
In a large bowl, combine broccoli, chicken, nuts and green onions.
Beat mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar in a separate bowl until completely smooth. The mayonnaise will become a little runny and the taste will change slightly. It will become a little sweet and sour.
Pour the resulting sauce over the salad. Add freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Cover the salad and refrigerate until serving. Just before serving, sprinkle with bacon.
Bon appetit!
