Maurice salad
Turkey salad recipes are not especially common, and turkey is often replaced with chicken. But I wanted to try a salad with turkey. Our butcher had a special offer, so I bought a lovely turkey fillet and made this Maurice salad.
I rubbed the turkey fillet with spices, put it in a roasting bag and baked it for about 25 minutes. Once cooked, I removed it from the bag and let it cool.
Next time I would like to try coarsely grating the cheese.
I also had half a bell pepper left over, so I added it to the salad.
First we prepare the dressing. Grate the eggs. Finely chop the parsley.
In a blender bowl, beat mayonnaise, vinegar, lemon juice, sugar and mustard well. Add eggs and parsley and mix thoroughly.
Place the prepared dressing in the refrigerator until serving.
Cut the finished turkey and ham into small cubes.
Dice the cheese and slice the gherkins. Add them to the bowl with the turkey and ham.
Before serving, season the salad and stir.
Place lettuce leaves on a serving plate. Carefully place the salad on them and garnish with stuffed olives.
