Homemade cookies with sour cream

I had not baked anything sweet for tea in a while when I remembered these simple cookies. The dough contains only margarine, sour cream and flour, with no eggs or sugar. The cookies are soft, flaky and pleasantly sweet from the coating. You can omit the sugar coating too and dip them in sesame or sunflower seeds instead.

INSTRUCTIONS
01

Combine soft margarine and low-fat sour cream in a bowl. Add sifted flour with baking powder and vanilla.

02

You may need a little more or less flour. You should get a soft, slightly sticky dough. There is no need to knead it for a long time. The warmth of your hands will melt the margarine. But we don't need this.

03

Place the dough in the refrigerator for half an hour.

04

Roll out the cooled dough into a layer about 7 mm thick. Use a cookie cutter to cut out cookies. Dip each cookie in sugar on one side and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

05

Bake in a hot oven until golden brown. My oven finished it in 12 minutes. Temperature 180°C.

06

It turns out like this layered cookie.
